Dr. B. Borooah Cancer Institute (BBCI), Guwahati, under the Tata Memorial Centre (Department of Atomic Energy, Govt. of India), has published an official recruitment notice for the post of Project Technical Support Staff III on a purely contractual basis. The position is under the project titled 'Implement and Evaluate CARE (Comprehensive AI-powered Conversational Interface to Quit Tobacco) to Improve Cessation among tobacco users'. Selected candidates will be posted at BBCI, Guwahati, with an initial engagement duration of 6 months, extendable depending on project tenure and candidate performance.
Eligibility & Selection Criteria
Candidates aspiring to apply must fulfill the essential educational qualifications and age limits prescribed by the institute:
- Educational Qualification: Graduate degree in any discipline with a minimum of 3 years of technical support experience OR a First Class Four-Year Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Information Technology, or Computer Science.
- Desirable Experience: Proficiency in computer applications and hands-on experience in SPSS data analysis software is highly desirable.
- Age Limit: The upper age limit for candidates is 38 years. In-service candidates of Tata Memorial Centre (TMC) are eligible for an age relaxation of up to 5 years.
- Selection Method: Selection will be conducted strictly through a Walk-in Interview. No written examination will be held for this engagement.

Important Instructions & Advice
Candidates must carry valid age proof (Class 10 Admit Card/PAN Card/Aadhaar Card/Birth Certificate), mark sheets, degree pass certificates, and experience documents. Candidates currently working in Government, Semi-Government, or Autonomous bodies must produce a valid 'No Objection Certificate' (NOC) or permission letter from their current employer at the time of reporting. No Traveling Allowance (TA) or Daily Allowance (DA) will be paid for attending the selection interview.
