The Karbi Anglong Autonomous Council (KAAC) has announced the recruitment for 49 posts of Veterinary Field Assistant (VFA) under the Animal Husbandry & Veterinary Department. This recruitment is conducted by the Central Selection Board, KAAC. Eligible candidates who have completed the prescribed One Year VFA Training Course are invited to apply.
Eligibility & Selection Criteria
To be eligible for the Veterinary Field Assistant position, candidates must meet the following criteria:
- Passed the HSSLC (Science) Examination with Biology as a subject.
- Successfully completed the One Year Training Course in Elementary Knowledge of Animal Husbandry & Veterinary Science.
The selection process will be based on merit and a Viva-Voce interview. No written examination will be conducted for this recruitment.
Step-by-Step Application / Download Process
Eligible candidates can apply offline by following these steps:
- Obtain the Standard Form as published in Part-IX of the Assam Gazette.
- Fill in all required details accurately.
- Attach necessary testimonials and documents.
- Affix a recent passport-size photograph on the application.
- Enclose a self-addressed stamped envelope of size 23 cm × 11 cm with a Rs. 4/- postal stamp.
- Submit the application by hand or send it by Registered Post to the Central Selection Board, KAAC, Diphu.
Important Instructions & Advice
Candidates must ensure that they produce original documents at the time of the Viva-Voce or document verification. Important documents include:
- HSLC Certificate/Admit Card as proof of age
- HSLC Marksheet
- HSSLC (Science) Certificate and Marksheet
- VFA Training Course Certificate
- Permanent Resident Certificate, if applicable
- Caste/Category Certificate, if applicable
It is advised to apply well before the last date to avoid any postal delays.
