The Directorate of Medical Education (DME), Assam has announced a Walk-in Interview for the engagement of Professors on a contractual basis for Government Nursing Colleges of Assam under the Medical Education & Research (ME&R) Department. This recruitment drive aims to fill a total of 10 vacancies across various specializations in nursing.
Eligibility & Selection Criteria
To be eligible for the Professor positions, candidates must meet the following criteria:
- Educational Qualification: M.Sc. (Nursing) with a total of 12 years of experience, including 10 years of teaching experience after obtaining the M.Sc. (Nursing). A Ph.D. in Nursing is desirable.
- Age Limit: The upper age limit is 50 years as of 01 January 2026, with relaxations applicable for SC/ST/OBC/PWD candidates.
